Hi, how are you? As you know, I really wanted a shearling leather denim jacket, like the Phillip Lim's I showed you on the post below, and I knew I would never earn enough to buy the original one so I decided to make it myself, here we go ♥
What you need
- An old denim jacket
- Newspaper
- Shearling leather (you can buy it in stores wich sells fabrics, it costs about 7€)
- Scissors
- A needle and thread

1. First, mark the denim jacket shape (actually the interior's shape) in a piece of paper, because you need to know how much fabric you'll need2. Then, cut it and you'll get 4 pieces of paper, one for the collar, one for the back of the jacket and two for the chest (I hope you know what I mean)
3. Once you got the pieces of paper, cut the fabric
4. So, you'll get 4 pieces again, one for the collar, one for the back of the jacket and two for the chest (although I cut two pieces for the sleeves wich I finally didn't use)
5. Then put the piece of fabric on the jacket, and check that the fabric piece is big enough for the space you're going to sew it on
6. Start sewing
