The Vest

Today is one of those days when the planets align some way that I decide to post some pictures of me.
I decided to go out to enjoy the beautiful weather (I'm wearing bare feet, have you noticed it? ) and asked my sister to bring her camera and take a few pictures, and this is the result.

PS. I was wearing a nice green coat that I turned into a vest because I couldn't find anything similar in the shops, and because I just got bored of it.
PS2. Don't take me too seriously in the Wingardium Leviosa pose on the first picture.

PS3. That's me trying to take a beautiful picture with leaves falling around me in a romantic way, but it didn't work out. Instead you have a picture of me freaking out and trying to take the leaves out of my face.

In case you're checking blogger today I leave you with a funny and super lovely video by Justin Wu (yes, I'm posting a video one again, I know, it's like the Pringles add, once you pop, you can't stop), but I love the videos he filmes (I've shown you a few before). Anyway, I just wanted to say

Sofia Coppola & Louis Vuitton

This bag is a new thing to add to my wishlist, although obviously I know it's almost imposible to see that bag under my christmas tree, but a girl can dream, right?
I've never been a fan of Louis Vuitton bags, but if Sofia Coppola colaborates with the brand, the thing changes. Have you seen how gorgeous is this it? Not only the bag, but also the pictures. Even in white it's beautiful (although my favourite is the suede black one. What do you say? ♥

Garance Doré dances for Petit Bateau

As you may, or may not, know, I'm a huge fan of Garance Doré and her videos. So when I visited her blog this morning and I saw a new video published, in which she appeared, I knew I had to share it with you. And so, after clicking the "replay" button a few times, here I am doing it.
Seriously, I know sometimes I'm such a pest with all this issue (because when I start posting videos it's very difficult to stop me) but YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT. If you, as me, love Garance Doré, I'm sure you'll enjoy it ♥

Creative people always have creative spaces

As I said a long time ago, people who are creative, are creative in every aspect of their life: the way they dress, the way they decorate their spaces... I leave you with some examples, hope you get some interior inspiration from these pictures

Jessica Stam

The beautiful model Jessica Stam has an amazing apartment, specially loving her living room: those armchairs and sofa are gorgeous.

Coco Rocha

Kelly Framel

Also, the girl behind the blog The Glamourai, Kelly Framel, has an amazing house too, but this is not her house, but her studio, very lovely, right?

Lauren Santo Domingo

Who Lauren Santo Doming is, some of you may have ask. Well, she is a socialite and a Vogue contributing editor, who by the way married the colombian millionaire Andrés Sango Domigo, that may explain her awesome house with beautiful art pieces.

Jenni Kayne: my new discovery

Last week I saw on Style.com some of the new pre-fall collections, and I decided to click on Jenni Kayne, because I had never heard about the brand before. Well... it happened something similar to when I saw Phillip Lim for the first time, I loved it and started to search in the archives looking for more runway pictures, so here you have the result, some of my favourite outfits from the past seasons.
Hope you like it as much as I do, everything it's just so nice, lovely and wearable, that it's (almost) impossible not to like their clothes ♥

Christmas Wishlist

Like everybody else, I also have a Christmas wishlist and because I have nothing better to show you today (and because I want to do it, who am I kidding?), I'll show you guys what I would like to have under the Christmas tree ♥
I'm not being very whimsical (I think)...

#1. First of all, I would like a pair of oxford shoes, and I do need them because my feet are freezing in my ballerinas, and I've already seen a very beautiful pair in the shops.
#2. I would like a few pairs of pants, maybe some black cargo pants I've seen in Zara and the Navajo pants... and some t-shirts and sweaters, but I'll leave it until the sales.
#3. I would also like an amazing Michael Kors watch (preferaly the two toned -silver and gold- one), although I don't think I'll get it, but dreaming is free, right?
#4. A beautiful bowling bag would be also a very very nice present, for example, that green one by Zara is gorgeous.
#5. And last but not least, some books I've seen in Amazon; I always receive books in Christmas -thanks to my lovely sister- and I want to keep filling my shelves. I'm thinking about the new one by the fantastic duo behing Who What Wear, and maybe a decor one too (I've heard about some by Deborah Needleman) and the one by Carine Roitfeld "Irreverent" wouldn't be bad either.

So, now I've said my wishes, what would you like to get these Christmas?

♥Lucy Chadwick

Since I saw the video The Selby filmed for Zara starring Lucy Chadwick, I've been wanting to know more about this girl, and I'm sure some of you did the same thing, because she has a great style. Definetely, her profession, wich is my dreamed job (she's the director of Museum52 art gallery in New York city), her beautiful home and her awesome style has stuck into my heart and I needed to share it with you ♥

PS. By the way, her sister, Emma Chadwick, has an amazing style too, doesn't she?

By the way, if you need some more style inspiration just go and take a look at Garance Doré, Natalie Joos, Dree Hemingway or Chloë Sevigny's posts (by clicking on their names).

Alexa's comeback

By Alexa Chung's comeback, I mean comeback to this blog, because, as you may have noticed, it's been a while since I don't post pictures of her. And why? Because she's not the same as she used to be, in my opinion, she's lost her je ne sais quoi. So, to remember old times I'm showing you some pictures from the shoot she did for Velvet magazine back in February 2009. How beautiful are these pictures?
Hope you're having a nice week!

PS. Thanks so much for the blog birthday wishes ♥
PS2. I'm not saying I don't like Alexa's style anymore, but in my opinion some of her outfits are not as amazing as they were in the past.

Happy 2nd anniversary

It seems incredible that two years have already passed since I started blogging, time goes by so fast, right? It have been two years since I decided to start this little blog and each day I'm happier about the decision I made. I know my blog is not anything big, but you can't imagine how beautiful is to see every comment that you leave, to see that people are reading and seeing what I post.
I'm so thankful for all the people I've got to know (throught the internet), for all the things I've learned and for all the lovely blogs that I've came across.

Thanks so much to all of you! ♥

Joanna Hillman gets married

Yes, yes, you've read it correctly, Joanna Hillman got married! ♥
As it happened with Taylor Tomasi-Hill, that got married almost 4 years ago (2008), now it's the turn of my second favourite fashion editor, Joanna Hillman, to celebrate her wedding. It happened just a month ago, 5th november, and if I have to be honest, I prefer Taylor's wedding, but this one was also nice, more propper of a new yorker.
She wore a Rochas dress and Ralph Lauren heels, and, as you can see, her hair and lipstick were as perfect as usually.
If you want to know more just click here.

PS. Taylor Tomasi was between the guests, isn't that sweet?
PS2. In case you were asking yourself who Joanna Hillman was, she's the senior fashion market editor at Harper's Bazaar.
